These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of animeshorts.com and the services offered through it (the "Service"), operated by Anime Shorts ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. The Service
The Service generates images and videos from text and reference images using third-party AI models, assembles those outputs into episodes and hosts them. Outputs are produced by automated systems and may contain errors or unexpected results. We do not guarantee that any output will match a description, that a character will render identically across takes, or that any particular edit, pose, line or voice style will be reproduced.
3. Credits and payments
Features are paid for with credits. Credits are purchased through subscriptions (which refill each billing period) or one-time packs, processed by Stripe. Subscription credits are used before pack credits. Prices for each action are shown in the studio before you confirm. Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
Upgrading a subscription charges the difference in price immediately and grants the difference in credits; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; remaining subscription credits are removed when the subscription ends.
Refunds. Credits are returned to your balance only when a job fails before any work has started, for example during validation or before a render has been accepted by the generation engine. Once a draft, render, image or stitch has begun, its credits are spent regardless of the outcome, including when an output is rejected by our content filters or fails to complete. Purchases of subscriptions and packs are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the text, descriptions and images you submit and of the output the Service produces at your direction, subject to the licence below and to any rights of third parties. You are responsible for ensuring that your input and output comply with these Terms and with applicable law.
5. Licence grant
By submitting, creating or making content available through the Service, you grant Anime Shorts, its successors and assigns a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense and distribute that content, including without limitation any prompts, descriptions, character names, show titles, reference images and any output produced by the service at your direction, including without limitation images, videos, text, and other content. This licence survives termination of your account and is not revoked by deleting content from the Service.
6. Acceptable use
- No sexual content, and no content depicting minors in any sexual, violent or otherwise harmful context.
- No content that harasses, threatens, defames or impersonates any person.
- No content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
- No attempts to bypass content filters, moderation or rate limits, and no automated access without our permission.
- No content depicting real people without their consent.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules. Public content may be reported by other users and hidden or removed after review.
7. Public content and the showcase
Content you mark public may be displayed in the showcase, on show pages and in search results, alongside your username. You may make content private or delete it at any time.
8. Intellectual property of the Service
The Service, its design, software, preset cast, sets and other materials are owned by Anime Shorts or its licensors. Preset library items may be used within the Service to create your content.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIME SHORTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anime Shorts from any claims, damages and expenses arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. Sections 5, 9, 10 and 11 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
14. Changes
We may revise these Terms. Continued use of the Service after a revision means you accept the revised Terms.
