This Privacy Policy describes how Anime Shorts ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use animeshorts.com and the services available through it (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile image from Google and store an account record with a generated username.
Content you provide. Show titles, premises, synopses, scene beats, character and set descriptions, images you upload as references, and the settings you choose for each render.
Generated content. Character sheets, sets, posters, takes and stitched episodes produced by the Service at your direction, together with metadata such as the prompt, duration, quality and visibility of each item.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer identifier, the plan or pack purchased and the status of your subscription. We do not store card numbers.
Usage information. Standard web analytics such as pages visited, device type and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through Vercel Analytics.
AI Data Processing
To provide AI features, the Service sends your text, images, video, and other input to third-party AI platforms for processing. These platforms currently include Google, OpenAI, and Replicate. Your prompts, descriptions and reference images are transmitted to these providers so that characters, sets and takes can be generated, drafts can be written and content can be checked against our guidelines. These providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies. By using the Service you consent to this processing.
How we use information
- To operate the Service: generate content, manage your cast library, shows and episodes, and track your credits.
- To process payments and maintain subscription status.
- To moderate content, enforce our guidelines and respond to reports.
- To improve the Service and understand how it is used.
- To communicate with you about your account.
Public content
Content you mark as public, including takes, stitched episodes and show pages, is visible to anyone, may be listed in the showcase and may appear in search engines. Your username is shown next to public content. You can make content private again or delete it at any time from the studio.
Sharing
We share information with the service providers named above (Google for authentication and hosting infrastructure, OpenAI and Replicate for generation and moderation, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Elastic for search) to the extent needed to operate the Service. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of users or the public. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Account records and generated content are kept while your account is active. Deleted items are removed from our storage promptly, though copies may persist in backups for a limited period. Uploaded reference images that fail moderation are deleted immediately.
Your choices
You can delete any show, episode, take or library item from the studio. To delete your account and associated data, email [email protected] from the address on the account.
Children
You must be 18 or older to use the Service. We do not knowingly keep information about anyone younger; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
